We are introducing new options in WritFiling to define communication preferences from Sheriff/ Enforcement Offices (EO) to Creditors and Representatives. This will help to improve delivery of information to Creditors and Representatives.

As of June 9, when adding a Creditor or Representative for a writ, you will be able to choose the following options:

• Language Preference — English or French
• Service Method — Mail or Email

These options can also be maintained by the organization administrator in the Maintain Organization User feature.

In addition to these communication preferences, you’ll notice the following enhancements:

• The Organizational Transaction Report will include Basket ID and Client Reference ID to assist your record-keeping
• Clear messaging to assist you when requesting the renewal of a previously renewed writ
• Removal of the Judgment/order date from the Writs Details section when filing a writ
